ENVIRONMENTAL PERMITTING

NEPA requires federal agencies to disclose the environmental impacts of proposed actions, evaluate alternatives to proposed actions, and involve other agencies and the public in decision making.

At NSEC, we use our extensive experience to guide applicants through the NEPA process smoothly and efficiently. Our Project Managers present practical mitigation measures for permitting requirements associated with wetlands and endangered species.

Activities involving the alteration of surface water flows including development that generates stormwater runoff as well as dredging and filling in wetlands and other surface waters require state authorization in the form of an ERP.

Development activities often overlap with threatened and endangered species.  NSEC Project Managers work with applicants and regulatory agencies to provide creative solutions to complex permitting issues associated with protected species and their critical habitats.
